I’m Chantal the founder of “herprettybravesoul.com”.
Intentionally herprettybravesoul started out as a blog until I decided to offer my services as a virtual assistant (VA).
What I love:
Traveling, saving money while making great deals, diet coke, chocolate, when women support women, kindness, spending time with my grandma, the ocean, and pizza. Not necessarily in that order, however. Sometimes I like chocolate the most.
I am a commercial assistant focusing on foreign languages but am currently working as an office management assistant at a German family education center in the western part of Germany. Here I handle a lot of different tasks. To get an insight into my work I would like to name a few: I answer emails, the telephone and in person questions. I am responsible for the Facebook presence which means I write posts, post pictures, engage with followers, create editorial plans, place facebook ads.. you name it. Twice a week you will also find me behind the reception desk. Oftentimes, I work closely with the manager. Really I handle a lot of things that a VA handles. You see, the only difference so far is that I handle these tasks in person. Not online.
Before my work as an office management assistant, I gained a lot of work experience in different fields.
For example: For about two years I worked as a call-center agent for a German river cruise liner, I did assembly line work during the summer but also had a fun time working at an amusement park! Another great experience was my internship in Plymouth, in the UK when I worked for the Plymouth Centre for Faiths and Cultural Diversity (http://www.pcfcd.co.uk/).
Furthermore, I also tested out the waters in a dropshipping business via Shopify and WooCommerce but soon learned, that this is not really something I want to make money with. Instead, I’d rather be in the back office and handle everything you don’t want to handle. Like writing product descriptions, processing orders or handling customer service.
Also in 2008, I had the chance to go abroad for the first time. In the USA, while doing an exchange year at a High School in Oklahoma, I started to get into photography. You can find my work here on this website, too.
Did you know that we probably have at least one thing in common? You might wonder, how am I able to say this when we don’t even know each other?
Here’s why: You are a (small) maybe even female-owned business owner. You are an entrepreneur. You want to enjoy your freedom. You want to be your own boss. You have a vision and you follow your dreams.
These are all characteristics I have as well. I always knew, that one day I wanted to be my own boss. I don’t want a 9-5 job. I want to enjoy my freedom. I want to be my own boss. I want to have something I can call my own. At the moment I’m still working at the German family education center. Once the time is right, I plan on giving up that work so I can fully concentrate on becoming a full-time virtual assistant.
With my services as a virtual assistant I can help you in the following fields:
Oh, and before I forget, this is how I work:
- no problems in meeting deadlines
- secure (your information are safe with me)
“Don’t look for someone who will solve all your problems. Look for someone who won’t let you face them alone.
